The record also shows that the defense attempted, by its two equally well qualified medical experts, to demonstrate that the plaintiff was malingering. In addition, Mrs. Templetons denial of Franklins claim of some pain immediately following the accident is urged as showing that if in fact he had an injury it did not arise out of this collision. As to the latter point, suffice it to say that it is common knowledge that certain types of injuries, including back and neck injuries, can arise from accidents, which injuries may not immediately be apparent at the time of a collision. Thus, the conflict in the evidence on that issue is of no materiality here.
